After five days of ballot counting, former Vice President Joe Biden has won the presidency, according to the Associated Press.
President-elect Biden will be sworn into office in January after the electoral college meets to confirm his victory.
President Donald Trump has made false and and unsubstantiated claims via Twitter that he won the election.
